EX Lake Central Airplane makes her final voyage.

I had the pleasure of knowing this airplane very intimately ever since she was CV-340 N73131 for Lake Central. I've done Weight and Balance on this airplane countless times all the way up through her becoming N5841 and leaving Allegheny as N535SA for Summit.  I've put some other pictures of her below the crash pictures. Warning. This page will load slow!!

-Charlie Pyles-

Fuselage was pretty much intact from this vantage Point where you can see what appears to be the right wing demolished along with the entire cabin forward of the wing.

A Delta 737-200 Departs 8/16 at CVG two days after N586P crashed
on the World of Golf Friday Morning seen here at far left in the trees.

In this view you can see parts of the left engine cowling and what is left of the Convair 580 cabin from the wings forward. Pretty amazing that the Captain survived when you see this.

This shot is an old dupe I got from Dean Slaybaugh many moons ago.

This a classic Elliot Greenman shot at Pittsburgh.

I got this one from Joe Turner although I have my own shots as well.
