1939-All American Aviation founded

1940-July 2nd, Camel City Flying Service becomes Piedmont Aviation, Inc.

1948-February 20th, Piedmont inaugural flight 41 operates on Wilmington, NC-Cincinnati, OH route.

1953-Changed name to Allegheny Airlines

1961-April 1st, Lake Central new service to Jackson, Michigan

1963-Lake Central accidentally hired me.

1965-Added Convair 580s to fleet

1966-Added Douglas DC-9s to fleet

1967-Allegheny Commuter created

1968-Lake Central Airlines merger

1972-Purchases Mohawk Airlines

1979-Changed name to USAir

1988-Pacific Southwest Airlines (PSA) merger

1989-Piedmont Airlines Merger

1992-Agrees to operate Trump Shuttle

1996-Stephen Wolf becomes new President

1996-Order for up to 400 Airbuses placed

1997-Changed name to US Airways Pulled out of Cincinnati

1998-Purchases Shuttle

1999-After 35 years 8 months, I retired

2003-Files bankruptcy
